  • Making Life Sweet

I am sure all of us realize that life is too short to be wasted on trivial issues. I believe that every human being is entitled to their opinions and they should do what they think is right.  As far as I am concerned I opine that life should have a meaning. Without a purpose, life can be very tedious and boring. Hence, I make sure that I spend some time each day trying to make it purposeful by doing something that will benefit somebody or the other. Because life is not always about living for yourself and if God has provided you with enough to make someone else smile, then so be it.
  • Email from France

My cousin who grew up in France sent me an email this morning. She stated in her email that she likes Jason Desrouleux so much and if he will be having concert soon I shall buy tickets for the two of us and she will fly back all the way from France just to see this guy perform. At first, I thought she was referring to a new artist but after I read her email again I realized she was referring to Jason Derulo. That was a bit funny that she really has to send me an email saying how she adores the pop star. Well my cousin is just a teenager so she must be really excited to have favourite singers and I bet she has a crush on him too.
  • New Laptop for Little Sister

My sister celebrated her 15th birthday the other day and she received a new laptop from dad. She was really happy with this gift she received. She was so excited to install various software and programs she needs and guess what when I checked out her laptop I even saw that she has Jason Derulo wallpaper. Cool how she took time to personalize everything unlike my laptop that looks really boring already. Come to think of it, maybe I need to buy a new laptop too? Well I am just happy that my little sister is so happy with everything she received for her birthday.
  • The Game Snakes and Ladders

That was quiet long before, some 20 years back, when I was a child; we hardly had games those days, except, the Snake and Ladder kind of games, so I had no options but to play them. But still I enjoyed playing them a lot. I remember I used to save my money for couple of months and get this game and just enjoy playing the game with my elder brother and sister, we used to play for hours especially, when it was summers and we get a long vacation at home for two months.  The reason I liked this game was because, that was the only game I had and secondly, in summers we were not allowed to go out and play, so Snake and Ladder remained my all time favorite.

  • Books As Friends and Teachers

Certainly, reading really helps at least in my case. I remember a book by Stephen Covey called ‘Seven habits of highly effective people’. When I read the book, it really worked in my life. The protocols or habits discussed by the author really touched my heart whereas the concepts and ideas expressed were really interesting and practical, and when I put those ideas in practice the result was just amazing. I got more confidence, my personality became more charming, people just started loving me with all care and respect which was not the case earlier. I got impressed with the author to such an extent, I got all his books, like First Thing first, The Eight Habit, etc. Each book thought me and changed me.
